How do I get a passport?
To obtain a passport you need to fill out the application and take it to the federal building in your area. If there is no building in the area, you can do it by mail, but it takes much longer. You will need proof that you were born in the United States or your Naturalization Certificate. You will need two passport photos, in color, as well. The passport that is issued from the United States is good for 10 years.
