Expert Q&A

I am a single woman who would love to travel, but not by myself. I've heard of travel clubs/groups and wondered how to go about finding some. Are these safe? And in terms of price, is it cheaper or about the same as planning a trip yourself? Benefits vs. cons?

There are dozens of travel clubs. I would suggest you look at Amabassadar.com, Hideaways.com and womenstravelclub.com. Do not chose on price but ask for references. Find someone that has used them and they will give you a first-hand opinion. Like any other service you need to fully understand operational advantages, safety, costs and execution. Always take out travel insurance, and never, ever, simply make a decision based on price.
