Four days to go!!

Well, my sister came and picked up the van this weekend, they will be leaving on Wednesday the 25th. We still have a ton of things to do, like go get travelers checks, do tons of laundry, clean the house, and oh yeah, PACK!!!! I know I will be up late on Thursday getting things into the right suitcase -- oh who am I kidding??!? I will be going crazy on Friday morning trying to fold clothes and get them packed while both kids run around and Phillip finds even more things we should take. That sounds much more normal for us.

I am starting to worry about taking the kids on the plane. I still think that it is smart to take the lesser to two evils for this trip seeing as the kids are still so young. But in an airplane there are other people I have to worry about, in a car I could let Caleb yell if he thought he needed to. Since our flight out is so early (leaves at 7 a.m.) I have hope that he -- if not both of them -- will get some sleep on the way down. We are going to give both kids Dimetapp before we leave in the hopes to forgo any ear pain during take off. That combined with a sippy cup for Caleb and a piece of gum for Alexis should ease any discomfort.

We have rearranged our rental car -- gain. Basically it is still the same, a mini van for a week, $209. Now instead of returning it to the airport we can return it closer to our resort and they will provide a shuttle back to the resort. All we had to do was set up transport from the resort to the airport on the day we leave. We opted for Tiffany Towncars to pick us up and take us.

I guess that is about all for our pre-trip entries. Here's hoping it is a great time!!
