If you're ever in Shelburne, Vt., be sure to stop by Shelburne Farms. Shelburne Farms is a 1,400-acre working farm that used to be a Vanderbilt-Webb estate. There is a wonderful children's farmyard there that kids and adults alike can visit. Kids can learn how to milk a cow, how to collect eggs, see baby goats, sheep, cows, pigs and donkeys. Shelburne Farms is committed to stewardship and education about the 
land. It is truly a joy to enter the grounds of this farm and enjoy all it has to offer from the homemade cheese to the animals to the wonderful hiking trails. This magical place is a must-see if you are ever in northern Vermont.
