If You're Ever in Raleigh, North Carolina
By Felicia Hodges
If you're ever in Raleigh, North Carolina, don't forget to visit Adventure Landing, located at 3311 Capital Blvd. (right off of US Rt. 1). Adventure Landing has a host of things the whole family can enjoy, including laser tag, miniature golf, batting cages and an arcade with interactive games that will have you running and jumping for all you're worth. But, the biggest draw is definitely the go-cart course that will have you living out your Indy 500 fantasies.
Designed to simulate a seaside trek, a huge shark -- complete with the wreckage of the boat it has just devoured -- hangs 15 feet above the entrance. With the exception of the go-cart course, all the attractions are water-theme oriented, from the lush water falls that wind through "Adventure Golf" to the fishing nets and parrots that surround the "Pirate's Quest" laser tag arena. There is also has a large snack bar with some of the best pepperoni pizza in town.
So, whether you're just passing through or in town for a few days, Adventure Landing is the place to stop to get some exercise and have a lot of fun in the process. Who knows? You might even bring home the checkered flag!
