If You're Ever In Minneapolis, Minnesota...

My very favorite place in Minnesota, where I live, are the Minnehaha Falls. I love the history, the scenery and memories the park has offered me. It holds special meaning to me because my husband and I frequently went there when we were dating, and now we love to go back there with our 9-month-old daughter. She loves the sounds of the rushing waters, and seems to love being there more than any toy store she has ever visited! I love the fact that this park has not changed, and though our family has grown, it has always been a wonderful place for us to visit. We celebrated our first Mother's Day there with a wonderful picnic with the grandparents. When I think of Minnehaha Park, I always feel a warmth and calmness envelop me.
