If You're Ever In Edina, Minnesota...
By Nellissa Schmalz
If you're ever in Edina, Minn., be sure to stop by Centennial Lakes Park
off France Avenue. The first time I was here was for my senior prom. It is a park right in the middle of the city. It is a very beautiful, romantic place -- or it can be fun for the family, too! They have a band shelter there, which I have seen kids concerts there. Lots of walking paths along the lake, with beautiful gardening, benches and bench swings. And watch the ducks, too. You can rent a paddle boat and paddle through the lake or go to the fountain! You can mini golf on real greens or play croquet on a real croquet field. There are restaurants too. Two Guys From Italy for the romantic adults or Circus Pizza for the kids -- plus more places to eat! There is a movie theater and other shopping stores. A very neat place to go to! Something for everyone!
