If You're Ever In Cooperstown, New York...
By Greg
If you're ever in Cooperstown, N.Y., you will likely pay a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame, which is the main reason thousands of families flock to this quaint lakeside town every year. The Hall of Fame offers dozens of unique exhibits, artifacts and, of course, the stories of the inductees to help educate and inspire visitors about America's favorite pastime.
In autumn, the hills are glowing with red, yellow and orange leaves. What better time to visit a cider mill? A few miles from Cooperstown, in Fly Creek, is the Fly Creek Cider Mill, which is another main attraction in this part of upstate New York. Here, visitors are treated to a tour of this working cider mill along with free tastes, a feathered friends petting zoo and a gift shop that offers "all things apple."
Finally, if you are looking for something a little stronger, the Brewery Ommegang is just a few minutes outside of downtown Cooperstown. This authentic Belgian brewery is the only Brewery in America dedicated to producing all bottle-conditioned Belgian style ales. You can stop in for a tour and a taste seven days a week.
