If You're Ever In Chicago, Illinois...
By Carolyn Schroeder
The Chicago Botanical Garden is great for kids. First, they are peaceful, with wide paths built for strollers and wheelchairs. Second, they have interesting sculptures and nametags on the plants that are great to discuss with the kids. Finally, and best, they have a wonderful display featuring both model trains and national landmarks made of natural materials. It is always a homerun with my kids. The bathrooms are always clean too!
