If You're Ever In Bremerton, Washington...
By Carey White
Our family just loves going to the Great Plains Zoo. It is small enough that the younger children don't get too tired walking around, and it has a bunch of interesting animals to keep even the adults interested in what is going on around them.
The best part about going to the zoo is that my grandmother lives across the street and we can walk over to her house for lunch and then return for the afternoon.
We love how centrally located the zoo is.
