The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa has a rich history and rustic charm. Situated on the former Rogers-Wiseman family ranch, this 200-acre wooded paradise is directly across from Sea World of Texas, 15 minutes from Six Flags Fiesta Texas Theme Park, 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio, the River Walk and the Alamo. Despite the size of the resort (500 rooms, including 58 suites), Hyatt maintains the Rogers-Wiseman traditions of family and hospitality.
The 18-hole Hill Country Golf Club, Health Club and Windflower Hill Country Spa are excellent escapes from reality and soothing for the senses. While you are unwinding from the stresses of everyday life, your kids ages 3 and older may be enjoying the best of Texas at Rowdy's Camp Hyatt. They may head out to the nature trail to search for real Indian arrowheads, create arts and crafts or even enjoy a game of sponge tag.
Older kids can head to their own spa, called the SPAhhhT (pronounced "spot"), which offers a variety of youth-designed services to the beat of kid-faves like Hilary Duff and Aaron Carter. Kids can try henna tattoos, hair braids, pedicures and manicures as well as clothed massage treatments under the supervision of a parent. Services like hand-painted nail art and hair weaving are available at a special poolside cabana.
But the most amazing part of Hyatt Hill Country Resort is the 4-acre water playground, which includes an adult pool and whirlpool separated by a cascading waterfall from the activity pool, plus a 950-foot Ramblin' River with its own gentle current and man-made beach. Tranquility and adventure at their finest, your family could do nothing but float around the river all day and be satisfied with a vacation well done.
