The Hot Springs Lodge and Pool, located in Glenwood Springs (between Aspen and Vail), is home to the world's largest hot springs pool. Established in 1888, the main attraction is the Hot Springs Pool, with natural mineral waters from the Yampah Springs heated at 90 to 93 degrees F in the large pool and 104 degrees F in the smaller therapy pool.
The pool is more than two blocks long and is surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains along the banks of the Colorado River. Features like two water slides, inner tubes, diving boards and bubble chairs make it fun for everyone. Kids enjoy cascading down two giant water slides and there's plenty of space to splash.
In the winter, steam rises in thick clouds as snowflakes melt into the water. To chill out, some visitors experience a Nordic tradition of emerging from the warm waters only to roll around in the snow on the deck. Just a few steps away, the Hot Springs Lodge provides comfortable accommodations with meeting facilities, guest laundry and underground and off-street parking. This 107-room hotel has spacious rooms, patios/balconies, security safes, irons with ironing boards, coffee makers and refrigerators.
No matter if the sun is shining or snow is falling, you can always take a dip in the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool.
