The Kids' Club boasts a morning fitness walk and fishing derbies in the resort's on-site lagoon. Recently renovated, the Club also features a brightly-colored play land, four computer terminals, a large screen TV and Playstations, dress up play, board games, arts and crafts and story time.
During the summer months, the resort offers its signature weekend Dive-In Movies. The action starts when the sun goes down and the large screen goes up at the South Pool allowing guests to watch movies poolside or in the water. Round water tubes and colorful floats are provided for guests of all ages to kick back, relax and enjoy classics or recent favorites.
Nearby attractions include the Arizona Science Center, the Desert Botanical Gardens, Rawhide Western Town, mountain bike excursions, hot air ballooning and even trips to the Grand Canyon.

In 1936, Louise Stewart added something special to her husband Jack's adobe paradise in the desert, Camelback Inn. Decades before the "new age" of children's travel, Mrs. Stewart knew the importance of family hospitality – that was the beginning of Hopalong College, the hotel's program for children ages 5 to 12, which has spanned generations of Camelback Inn guests.
Named after the Old West's Hopalong Cassidy, a long-time frequent visitor to Camelback Inn, the program offers a great assortment of fun, educational festivities sure to make kids feel at home. Kids learn and enjoy crafts, water games, tennis clinics, bicycling, playground activities, themed events, nature walks, breakfast rides, ice cream socials, "camel hunts," cookouts, storytelling, computer classes, pizza parties, trick roping and even a kids spa.
Acquired by Marriott Corporation in 1967, the Camelback has maintained the same standard of excellence for more than 30 years. The property offers 453 oversized adobe-style casita guest rooms and suites with refrigerators, microwaves, wet bars, mini-bars, private entrances, garden patios and balconies. Deluxe suites at Camelback Inn even include private swimming pools. There's also 36 holes of championship golf, six tennis courts, three pools and seven restaurants and lounges.
