Sexy Seattle
The Home of Romance
By C.J. Johnson
The Edgewater Hotel has appeal for anyone who adores the Beatles. Back in the 1960s the Fab Four stayed at this hotel and fished from their room window. It is a must-see for tourists even if they do not intend to stay for the night. This establishment is right on the water and right in the heart of all the fun.
The Andaluca restaurant has fabulous entrees and homemade desserts. Their specialties include shellfish stew, crab, beef tenderloin, artichoke risotto and the tantalizing avocado tower. The walls are painted with brilliant, rich hues that add a feeling of adventure to this fine establishment. The waiters are polished and very opinionated about the menu. For fabulous dining don't miss this pleasurably unique restaurant.
You absolutely have to eat at the legendary Ray's Cafe on Shilshole Bay! They are known for their 50-foot neon red "Ray's" sign that can be seen for miles and their magnificent seafood menu. Ray's has been around since 1945 and has been rebuilt after two fires. This hopping business is known for its fresh seafood and the reliable staff who has been working hard for customers for years. It is a slice of Seattle history on the water's edge.
For an eating adventure in the sky, check out the Space Needle Restaurant located at the top of the Space Needle. They offer many healthy menu options along with more decadent temptations like coconut shrimp, lobster bisque and a huge variety of dessert options. The restaurat slowly revolves, giving a 360-degree view of Seattle.
