White River State Park

If you've got an animal enthusiast on your list, your first stop should be the Lion's Pride Gift Shop at the Indianapolis Zoo. The Lion's Pride offers a wide variety of zoo and animal-related gifts, ranging from plush stuffed animals to animal holiday decorations and ornaments to photos of the zoo's most popular animals. Again this year, the Indianapolis Zoo Guild is selling a collector's ornament. This year's ornament depicts a mother and baby dolphin, honoring the zoo's two baby dolphins, Kalei and Indy.
If you're shopping for a gardening guru, visit the Gardener's Pride Gift Shop in White River Gardens for countless gift ideas for the person with the green thumb. Located adjacent to the Indianapolis Zoo, the White River Gardens shop carries garden supplies, gardening apparel, home fragrances and even gourmet food. Gardener's Pride also is the exclusive retailer for one-of-a-kind sculptures by the artists whose work graces White River Gardens. Additionally, both Gardener's Pride and the Zoo's Lion's Pride gift shops are offering the first in a series of limited-edition model train cars from the Indiana Rail Road Company. This year's car is the caboose, and a new car will be added each year. While you're at the Gardener's Pride, spend some time enjoying White River Gardens' traditional Holiday Toyland presented by the Indiana Railroad Company.
