Train lovers beware! The Toy Crossing will delight young and old alike with their train-themed merchandise. Children will love the Thomas the Tank collection, while Dad will reminisce as he looks at their vast Lionel trains and accessories.

When you've had your fill of trains, pop in On the Park, a candy shop kids and adults can appreciate. Load up on any kind of candy you can imagine! From Godiva chocolate, homemade fudge and chocolate-covered cashews, to anything "gummy" imaginable and every color of M&Ms made, there's something for everyone. Mix and match to your heart's content – most of the candy is by the pound!

Just a short walk from the Boardwalk you'll find more shops. Carol and Co., Lady by the Sea, Trade Winds, Kemah Cargo and Goin' South offer a treasure trove of unique gifts. Enjoy Jimmy Buffet music and Hawaiian shirts? Tropical Express is the store for you. You'll find nautical treasures galore, plus you can even charter a sailing excursion for the family.

Eating on the Boardwalk

The heart of Kemah is still the wonderful array of restaurants and fabulous seafood. One of the newest, and most spectacular, is The Aquarium. You don't have to be hungry to take a walk through this restaurant. The hostesses, waiters and diners are accustomed to people walking through the restaurant to view the 50,000-gallon aquarium that takes center stage – all the way up to the third floor! Colorful sea life inhabits this underwater paradise, with an occasional diver to entertain the patrons. The Bamboo Bar is located outside The Aquarium and offers a great view of the water as well as wonderful frozen drink specialties.
