When to Go

The season is generally March through October; some attractions may be closed or have limited hours at other times of the year.

Getting There

Fly into either Salt Lake City, 236 miles from Moab, or Grand Junction, CO, 110 miles from Moab. Shuttle services into Moab are available, but you'll want a car to get around.

Where to Stay

Red Cliffs Lodge, Mile 14 on Hwy. 128, offers a riverside or creekside suite with kitchenette. The scenery at this hotel is extraordinary.

At Redstone Inn, 535 S. Main, the rooms can be small but are a bargain. The hotel also offers packages with accommodations and excursions.

Cali Cochitta Bed & Breakfast Inn, 110 S. 200 East, is a romantic old Victorian house two blocks from the main strip with delicious breakfasts.

Where to Eat

Buck's Grill House, 1393 N. Hwy. 191, offers excellent steaks and burgers.

Desert Bistro, 1266 N. Hwy. 191, offers a sophisticated menu with entrees for an elegant night out.

Eklecticafe, 352 N. Main, is known for its all-natural breakfasts and sandwiches.
