Vermont's Ultimate Family Vacation

Alice's Wonderland
Caring for kids ages 6 weeks to 3 years, Alice's Wonderland is a "fully-certified enrichment center," offering activities all day long. The center has several groups to care for children according to their age. The Fireflies are 6 weeks to 16 months old, and they enjoy play mats, climbing structures, walks in strollers or backpacks and outdoor play in the enclosed Firefly Garden. Little Dippers are 17 months to 2 1/2 years old, and they can participate in arts and crafts, music, bubbles, storytelling, sand play and more. Little Rascals are 2 1/2 to 3 years old, and they do such big kid activities as hiking around the village, visiting the horses or nature center and swimming in Little Smugglers' Lagoon.
Our twin daughters, Cassie and Jules, who were Little Dippers, enjoyed their time at Alice's very much. Their favorite activity was feeding the goats in the petting zoo. The staff at the center was very kind and capable, and we felt secure leaving our children there even though they had never been in a daycare setting before. We even used Alice's for a Parents' Night Out, and our son enjoyed spending time there as well. The staff took out the children for pizza at the nearby pizzeria, then for ice cream, then back to Alice's for a movie. Maybe it should be called Kids' Night Out!
Discovery Dynamos
For children ages 3 to 5 years, Discovery Dynamos is a camp-like program that encourages growth and exploration. Kids learn about animals, nature and science, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming.
