I have always adored Starbucks coffee, especially the mochas. But the best mocha I have ever had came from Seattle's Best Coffee during my visit to Seattle. Even my husband couldn't resist taking a few sips.

Night Life

Oliver's is famous throughout Seattle for their fabulous "Best in Seattle" martinis. The bartenders shake up the cocktails and enjoy their title of best classic martini makers in Seattle. According to the judges of the International Martini Classic Challenge, Oliver's creates the best martinis on the planet.

Couples who love to club hop shouldn't miss Pioneer Square. On weekend nights you can purchase a passbook for a nominal price. That one-time small fee makes it possible to try out 10 different clubs of varying flavors within the Pioneer Square. This part of Seattle is full of history and local charm.

Night owls who prefer a newer district in town may want to venture to Bell Town. There are billiards halls, restaurants and clubs. For a night of good old rock 'n' roll, dance enthusiasts may want to check out the Crocodile. Couples who enjoy great jazz music should visit Tula's.

Seattle is breezy, chic and cosmopolitan. It is a playful town that offers romance and begs for couples to comb the streets and harbors. If you are looking for a trip away with your sweetheart, Seattle may be just the place for you.

Romancing Seattle for Less
