The Breezy City on the Bay

Explore Romantic San Francisco

Although the city itself is charming, staying at the right hotel is crucial. There are many choices for travelers, but because of their romance package, we chose the Argent Hotel located at 50 Third Street across from the Moscone Convention Center. If San Francisco is a delicious gourmet chocolate, the Argent would be located in its creamy caramel center. Nearby streets of Mission and Market are two of the busiest streets in San Francisco and are loaded with shops and restaurants. This is the place to stay to keep in the center of the action.

Accommodations for romance enthusiasts include French champagne and fresh strawberries. Each guestroom has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide spectacular cityscape views. Our corner room gave us views of the dynamic city on one side and a clear view of the bay from the other.

The staff was impeccably courteous, especially the concierge employees who provided us with endless information on the city and events to investigate. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated. We felt pampered and allowed ourselves to soak up the romance.
