If You're Ever In Monterey, California...

This place is it for the whole family. There is something for everyone. The mainstay, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, has it all. They recently put in a brand new attraction designed for the tiniest of human folk. There is a play land for the younger crowd who can play and learn at the same time about things like our earth, resources, how to conserve and keep them clean. Very good lessons for us all! And, anyone can enjoy many of the exhibits that feature a vast array of ocean wildlife. Even infants love the giant glass aquariums where they can see huge fish with wondrous colors gently floating by. You can easily spend two days just at the aquarium. But, there is also Fisherman's Wharf for those who like to watch the surf, listen and gaze at giant sea lions. And moms, this one's for you -- shop! And dining is vastly array, but our favorite is Bubba Gump's Shrimp Factory Restaurant. It is taken right out of the very popular movie. The whole restaurant is covered movie memorabilia and the movie itself runs continuously on TV screens throughout the place. There is a really neat wax museum there too. And, I can't forget all the whale watching and kayaking tours too. This is my favorite place in the world. My husband and I have had memberships to the aquarium for a couple of years now. I could go every vacation if my husband would allow.
