If You're Ever In Crestline, California...

Crestline, CAIf you're ever in Crestline, Calif., during the summer months, pack your bathing suit and bring plenty of sunscreen! It's time to have fun in the sun at Lake Gregory Regional Park.

Lake Gregory is a man-made lake in the San Bernardino Mountains, 90 minutes east of Los Angeles and north of San Diego. For an additional admission fee, playful ones can enjoy the lake's water slide. It's long and curvy, but not too steep. Lifejackets are available for non-swimmers since the 3-foot pool at the end can be a little overwhelming for little sliders.

Water activists can rent long paddle boards, aqua cycles and pedal boats. Lifeguards dressed in traditional red swim attire supervise the lake. The restrooms are clean and the snack bar is stocked with plenty of food and snacks to satisfy a swimmer's appetite.

Joggers and walkers frequent the 3-mile path around the lake. Man's best friend is welcome to come along, provided he is on a leash and does not enter the enclosed swim area. Lake Gregory has something for every person (and pet) in the family.
