For a more romantic experience, the spa offers a "Back to Bed" treatment, where Carriage House residents can receive a special room service delivery of a tray of bathing amenities, candles and a bottle of champagne. A spa attendant will even draw your bubble bath for you and cover your bed in rose petals!
Other spa perks include spacious lounges (his and hers) complete with steam room, sauna, cold and hot plunge pools and, finally, enormous showers with the latest in Kohler technology, such as cascading waterfalls and multiple body jets with massage.
For men not into the spa experience (though the Waters Spa offers various skin treatments just for them) the American Club also has workout facilities, two championship golf courses (in warmer weather) and a pub called the Horse and Plow, where football games can be viewed on overhead TVs. When the American Club was a rooming house, the pub's location contained a bowling alley and billiard room. Now the tables in the Horse and Plow are made of the wood from the original bowling lanes.
